The Bauhaus

Produced alongside the Talk Art podcast, hosted by Russell Tovey and Robert Diament, this short film traces the heritage of the Bauhaus, founded by Walter Gropius in 1919, through the work of three of its masters, Wassily Kandinsky, László Moholy-Nagy, and Paul Klee. The film favors clean geometric lines and functional modernist aesthetics, letting the paintings and compositions carry the story and its century-old belief that form, color, and material could be studied with the same rigor as any science.
