Jason Anderson Studio (“the studio,” “we,” “us”) provides brand identity, strategy, and creative direction services to clients internationally. This policy explains what information this website collects, how it is used, and the choices and rights available to you. It applies to jasonandersonstudio.com and does not apply to information you share with the studio outside of this website (for example, over email or in a client engagement, which is instead governed by the terms of that engagement).

Information we collect

We collect information you choose to give us directly: your name and email address when you subscribe to the newsletter, and your name, email, phone number, and any project or brand details you share when you request a consultation or otherwise contact the studio. We do not ask for or knowingly collect payment card numbers, government ID numbers, or other sensitive information through this site.

Like most websites, our hosting and security providers automatically log standard technical information for every visit, such as IP address, browser type, device type, and pages viewed, for security and diagnostic purposes. This site does not currently run any analytics or advertising tracking script.

Cookies & local storage

This site does not use cookies or any third-party tracking or advertising technology. It stores your light/dark theme choice and your selected language directly in your browser’s local storage, so the site remembers them on your next visit. This information stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and can be cleared at any time through your browser’s settings. When you choose a language other than English, the page is displayed using a translation bundle included with this site; form entries are never sent for translation.

How we use your information

We use the information described above to respond to inquiries, schedule and prepare for consultations, deliver the studio’s services, and, only where you’ve opted in, send occasional newsletter updates about the studio’s work and availability. We do not use your information to make any automated decision that produces a legal or similarly significant effect on you.

How we share your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only: with service providers who process it on our behalf (listed below); when required by law, subpoena, or other legal process; or with your consent. Any such provider is permitted to use your information only to provide the service to us.

Service providers. This site uses Google services to operate. Newsletter sign-ups are collected through Google Forms and stored in Google Sheets. Consultation bookings, including your name, email and any details you share, are handled through Google Apps Script and Google Calendar, which sends your calendar invitation. Until fonts are hosted on this site, the Inter typeface is loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when a page loads. Google processes this information on the studio’s behalf under its own privacy terms.

International visitors & data transfers

The studio works with clients around the world, and information collected through this site is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Some of our service providers may process information in other countries; where required by law, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect it.

Data retention

We keep newsletter contact information for as long as you remain subscribed, and consultation or inquiry information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you and, where a client relationship follows, for the duration of that engagement and as needed afterward for our legal, accounting, or archival obligations. You can ask us to delete your information sooner as described below.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict its processing, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw your consent at any time, including by unsubscribing from the newsletter. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example as this site adds new features or integrations. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
